Maroula is a self-taught South African artist currently residing in Cape Town.
Her contemplative and at times melancholy aesthetic draws from experiences within the realms of womanhood.
Working with photography, she incorporates collage and thread into her practise.
She has been recognised as an Artist to Follow by Latitudes, and was long-listed in the photography and printmaking category of the Woman United Art Prize 2022.
Maroula has participated in group exhibitions in the UK, South Africa, and online.
